Year-round, Putnam Parks & Pathways offers a free, guided, monthly nature hike led by professionals with insights into the wildlife, native plants, history, and fun, nature-oriented topics of the sites.
Cooperating with multiple groups around the county and hosting events at a number of different locations, Nature Play Days, are the perfect opportunity to get your child out into nature. These guided events are free and open to anyone!
Nothing great can happen in a silo, that’s why we are partnering with our local school corporations. Teaching children to enjoy and appreciate the outdoors, nature, and physical activity at a young age. Putnam Parks & Pathways recently announced and opened our “Windows to the World” Teacher Grants.
